Depends on your car, the instructions with my HU said you may need to swap the two or you will loose the memory, all I can sat is trial and error. Set t up the way your manual says and if you loose memory then switch the two and see if that helps, worked for me

Hey guys I just brought a new HU and it said it came with a SUB-OUT connector so I thoght great I can plug in my small 10' without having to get an amp, So I got home and unpackaged it and to my surprise the sub-out cable was a female RCA joint, completely seperate from the rest of the cables...
