they fit fine right now the newer mustangs have a decent trunk

My current boxes sound pretty good they are built to spec from alpines recs subtracting the extra .25 inch that im not using. My problem is they seem to not follow through on some of the base notes so i was thinking that it could have been from box flex or something if that is even possible.

I have ran sealed in the past there just is not enough out put for me

will using 1/2 actually cause any issues in the sound?

Sry im prob not explaining it right. I have all my mids ran off the alpine amp and when i power on the amp even if the RCA's are not connected to the amp i get a whining noise from the speakers.

All the connectors on the h/u are soldered on then has heat shrink tube over it. But taking the h/u totally out of the picture it still wines so i know from that, that the h/u is not the prob.

I have a PDX4.100 amp powering the mids in my mustang. Im getting a pretty bad whining noise though. I thought maby the ground on the head unit was bad so i ran a new ground for that and im still having the same issue. I disconnected to RCA from the amp and i am still getting that noise so that...

Can some obe help me out I have a alpine cd deck and a alpine amp powering my mids but I'm getting slot of alternator noise. I'm using good jl ca cables and none of my speaker wire is ran with the power cable so I can't figure out y its doing it. Dry if this is nit spelled properly I'm posting...

I checked the harnest the only difference is the shaker system need a seperate small harnest to send the signal to the stock amp but i will try a different ground thanks for the help

I had a 08 Mustang with the 4 speaker system and installed a Alpine Deck on it. Well i traded in my 08 and got a 09 but it has the shaker 500 system and i tried to install the alpine deck it fits in the harnest but the cd player wont even power on. Does anybody have any ideas?

Sry for second post but i left out the specs. The sub is a 12" Alpine Type X being pushed by a Alpine PDX 1.100 amp at ohms in a 08 mustang.

The sealed range for my sub is .65 to 1.25 ft3 with the optimum size being .8 ft3 after displacement. Right now i have the box at .65ft3 after displacment i made a stupid mistake while making it.
