Just got a 10 inch L3 from a buddy and need to know the best box to put it in I've been looking into some ported boxes and vented. The car it's going in its a 1999 pontiac grand prix if someone could help please anything is welcome. Please no kicker haters just need help with a box thank you

I just bought a JL 250/1 mono block amp and when i hook it up it makes the sub make a sratchy nose when i try to set the gain on it, it makes a popping static noise can some one please try and help
