    Wiring three Subs

as far as inside the box, if you are switching the subs, i would take the time to put 10 guage, 12 would be fine but 10 is even better. as far as the circuit breaker, i am only running a 60 amp bus fuse and havent had any problems so i think the 100 amp breaker would be fine. if it starts...

    Wiring three Subs

think of it this way, with one sub there is one way for the current to go, if you add another sub, it adds another path for current to go, so the impedance cuts in half. If you add a third sub, it makes three equal paths for current, so you would divide by three. if you have three 8 ohm speakers...

    Power hungry amp,neen help p|easeeee!

You can run 150 amps through 4guage for about 4 feet, that all. 150 is best suited for 0 guage. If your battery is only 4 guage a good idea would be to replace the factory ground and alternator wire with 0 guage. The cap should help although 2 or 3 would be good.

Ramos need help with car alarm

I put a viper alarm in a 2002 ram. I have done lots of alarm installs and this i must say was a tough one, you need resistors for the parklights, doorlocks. they are not the usual ones for chrysler. Like the previous post said, get a pro to do it.

    installation question 98 grand cherokee

if you want to grab the wires at the amp(under the right rear seat i think) you wont be able to use the harness at walmart(that is made for at the radio). what you will need is a tone generator. Turn the car on with the volume on the radio all the way down, then test the wires at the amp to find...

    BIG PROBLEM altima tail lights

most likely you hooked the illumination or positive dimmer wire to the ground, this wire will act like a ground, until you turn the lights on, then it switches to 12 volts.

'83 VW Rabbit sounds need some help!!

The bad thing about old VW's is that you usually have to hardwire them.(find all the wires using a voltmeter and tone generator). The speakers usually are and active system and you would need to run new wires to them. They arent fun but fairly easy to do.

    Wiring three Subs

Hey, if the guy you are buying these 8-ohm subs from told you they would drop to 2 he is wrong, You would need 4 8-ohm speakers to get 2-ohms. The 81000d should run fine at 2.67 ohms(thats what you get with 3 8-ohm) Just be very careful with that amp, I have two 12 inch alpine type-e's and the...
