capacitors can be fused at a normal size i.e. 20 amps then just carry on as normal thats all there is to it your only protecting the cable as it pass's throught the bodywork!

listen mate these people who dont like capacitors dont no anything trust me they are amatuers ive installed many capacitors in my setups and they've always helped me improve hitting them higher bass notes and improving battery performance as for the capacitor you have it dont make no differance...
