Hey guys I'm thinking about replacing my amp that was stolen a while back (phoenix gold r15) for my 12" idmax v3 d4. I'm trying to keep the price down since I'm on a tight budget with school and all. Any suggestions for me? Trying to spend up to around $200 and I have the sub in a sealed...

problem solved "pwr-ic off" you would think that since it says the initial setting is on, tahts actually what it would be, but it wasn't all that removal for nothing lol oh well connected now sounds great

it shouldnt be the fuse though should it because it turns on and everything

how do i check the fuse?

so which wiring should it be though? blue and white from the alpine to blue on the harness or blue from the alpine to blue on the harness?

i had the blue from the wiring harness (pwr antenna) connected to the blue from the alpine (pwr antenna) and that didn't work, just now i tried the blue from the wiring harness (pwr antenna) to the blue and white from the alpine (remote turn on) but that didnt work either

what do you plug that to if you don't have an amp? this is obviously my first time installing a hu, if that's the problem i will feel like an idiot, but much better if it works lol

it's a 95 civic, and i made sure the harness was right for it

Ok so I got my alpine 9815 in the mail today and i got my wiring harness and the wire twist connects. I followed the instructions according to the alpine manual and the directions for the wiring harness.....I have a display and everything....but NO SOUND!!! I'm sure I connected the right wires...

I have this same sub, it's a beast all around

I'll basically be using my ipod 99 percent of the time. I will probably run it through the 780's aux input since it's ipod control is slow.
