You have to use an alpine Ipod cable. Its the only one that works. I just brought a replacement at best buy.

this first files will not work on our decks. I would reformat the usb stick and place only the official files for the ida-x100 on it. Then try to do some custom files

You would need the "XM Direct 2 Alpine Car Kit" or if you have xm radio already then you would just need the "XM Direct 2 Alpine Adapter Cable" Both just plug into the alpine deck and you would control everything from there.

Hello Do the sirius presets work the same as the radio presets? The standard alpine remote [RUE-4202] does the preset changing just by pressing up/down. You would still have to scroll through them but you wouldn't have to look at the radio. Hope that helps.

Glad you got it to work! Sorry about not making it more clear you needed the irfanView program. All i included were the hard to find programs/files in my post. Now for your problem, it might be that the deck looks at the file name instead of the song/artist name. Really its worth picking up...

Has anyone been able to find the KTX-H100 tuning kit? Crutchfield has been saying it was on back order.

Sorry guys for not keeping up with this thread. It seems that my email subscription to this thread is not working. The guy on priderock does the converting for the alpine TV deck because he will not release the converter. With this converter you can put just about any image on your deck...

I think its worth the extra just because the screen looks so much better on the x100. Both units do come with an ipod cable, so you don't need to buy any extra cables. The iphone does work with this cable but you cannot get phone calls while it's plugged in. Check out this thread for more...

What amp are you running the pr60 on? I have these speakers and they sound awesome. You need to feed at least 200rms per channel to these speakers. Also the tuning kit shouldn't cost more than $30. Hopefully i will be getting this unit sometime this month!
