    DLS vs. Dynaudio

Really? The sub can handle double it's rated RMS value that the manufacturer publishes? Is this overall with any type of music? Any volume level? That's impressive. I don't doubt you -- but I do have to question the marketing guys at Dynaudio if this is true. I understand being safe, but...

    DLS vs. Dynaudio

Give that sub 800W RMS minimum, and you'll go through 3 or 4 Dyns too I am curious the hear how the Dyn sub sounds though, I've read some really good things about it. I gotta admit though, I am pretty dang happy with my Ultimo though

    DLS vs. Dynaudio

That Dynaudio sub is rated for 400W rms -- so be careful how much power you put on it. But seriously dude, $1500 for that sub? I think that's a bit excessive -- I wouldn't buy it before having a listen to it in an actual car install (not a sound board).

    hertz componant speakers

Contact these guys ... http://www.advancedmrktg.com/ They e-mailed me a list of dealers in my area, and I went around and chose the one I liked best.

    Way to power speakers??

Sure, you can bridge your amp to 2-channel, it says so on the website -- http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_amps.php?amp_id=437 As for speakers, go around and have a listen to what you like. I saw a set of Diamond Audio S600s (hex) component speakers for right @ 199.00 a while back. IF I...

what speakers would go good for the rear of a 99 mustang

I was skeptical also, but I just went for it -- I just had some Hertz MLK 165 components installed up front, no rear speakers. Have a "little" 10-inch hertz sub in the trunk -- I don't miss the rear speakers at all. I hear the sound around me, not just from the front like I thought I would --...

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

Biamp on the xovers? Nah, I am not using the passive xovers. The a-channel of the amp is powering the tweeters @ high pass, the b-channel of the amp is powering the mids @ bandpass, and the d-channel of the amp is powering the sub @ low pass. As for the sound? I am working on a review

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

Definitely ... the tweets are not harsh at all, but they are very detailed and clean. Tweets definitely held their own through out the Metallica S&M CD -- the triangles, flutes, violins and other higher frequency instruments came through clear against the drums and lower frequency...

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

Yeah man, I am completely blown away!! I been driving around Houston burning gas just to listen to it since I left. I will post a better review some time this week, but in short, it sounds unbelievable. That ML2500 does NOT sound like a 10" sub, and the gain is only set at half way on it...

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

I'll definitely do that, and you're right -- this review of the amp backs up the ratings you gave me ... http://www.caraudiomag.com/features/cae_0710_audison_lrx_amplifier/index.html The following is taken from the article above -- Audison LRX5.1K Amplifier - Aftermarket Amplifier...

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

Oh, okay -- I was just going by the RMS 4-ohm ratings I found when I downloaded the manual off the Audison site -- guess those are a bit over-inflated?

    Hertz HSK-165 vs MLK-165

I'm in Houston, and my car is in the shop right now getting an install done. I have a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe, getting the following put in: -Hertz MLK165 -Hertz ML2500 -Audison LRx5.1k -Eclipse AVN5510 I am getting it done at an authorized dealer (for Hertz/Audison). Also, let him...
