Ok soo if I where to pick up another rf bd 500.1 then run one to each sub would that be enough power? Because they only put out about 250 into 4 ohms(I believe) how would I wire it down to 2 ohms?

Yea thats what I was thinking of doing, I dont want a single sub because I already have a custom made box for my two and I dont really have the spare time to make another one.

How do you think it would sound? I've heard that "underpowering" subs will blow them then I've heard that they wont. I really like the amp I have now and dont really want to upgrade it but my old mtx 6000 blew and now I need some subs what would you recogemend I get to go with the amp I have...

Just like the title will my punch bd500.1 be able to power two 12" type r's? I had two MTX 6000 hooked up before and it powered them perfectly. If not what subs would you recogmend for me? Also I dont want just a single sub.

I have a punch series amp 500, and its pushing two mtx 6000 12" however after 3 years they are finally done. So now I am looking to either get two mtx 7500 or two type r's. The only thing is my box isn't ported and I would prefer to keep that way, another thing is my amp isnt spitting out too...
