Found the problem. Had a short in the crossover on one spaeker.

Amp is mounted in trunk. 325i has battery located in trunk. Also by X2 do you mean 2 way?

I have just installed a new alpine amp MRP-F300 with a pair of Alpine SPR-17C 6 1/2 2 way coaxial speakers. We used the speaker level inputs form the head unit. (BMW 325i 1994). At very low volume the system works great. But when turned up (Normal levels) the amp cuts out for 10 seconds then...
