I just sold my JL 1000/1 for like $500 to buy a Massive Audio P1500.1 to power a 12" Audioque HD3... Did I make a wise decision???

I know this is off topic but I have a orion 8004 for my mids n highs...I have 4 dayton 6in 4ohm and 2 pioneer 6x9's hooked up to the amp and when I have the radio on for like 10-15min with the volume at 20/40 the amp shuts off and it gets hot as hell....why do u guys think it does this???

yeah...the audioque looks like a good sub...I had a 12w7 hooked up to one 1000/1 for about 8 months and it blew on me so thats why I wanted a sub with atleast 1000w rms...so 2 ohm it is...thanx

In the order form, it asks me how many ohm....should I get the dual 1.5, 2 or 4 ohm?

I have six speakers hooked up to a 4 channel 800 watt orion amp. Two of those speakers are 8ohm and the other four are 4 ohm...when I crank my volume up to 20/40 for like 5-10 min, the amp shuts off...What should I do???

I have the w7 in a subzone sealed box. This guy that does custom work is gonna make a ported enclosure for me and he thinks I should keep the w7 because once I hear it with a port, the difference will be insane.

It's ok but someone told me that 2 12w6v2 will sound better with the same amp. I also have my w7 in a sealed box and I dont feel like i'm getting enough bass. should I try a ported box or just go ahead and sell the w7 and get a pair of w6v2's? p.s. And in response to denim, if you're not an...
