Pull the deck, to bench test it connect entirely different amplifiers and speakers too, use different rcas, and a different power source (before sending it off for repairs). Please post your results either way.

I have a st-1500d in chrome with the bass remote - $275 shipped. The ad is on diyma.

I have a NIB 9887 - I tested it for about 60 seconds in my gfs car (she has a 9887 too). $295 includes Ipod cable shipped in CONUS.

I have a white one with cable and remote control - the remote jsut doesn't have the metal cover, so $110 shipped and it's yours.

I have a set of these and they sound phenomenal and handle tons of clean power - for the price there is no better value IMO. If I didn't have 3 spare sets of 5.25s already I would buy these right now.
