i just got some black carpet from walmart... go to automotive section it will be in like a 54"x 3 yard roll i think. its about 8 bucks, way cheaper than the $30 stuff crutchfield offers. go to home depot or lowes for some liquid nails or silicone works

yeah alot of people prefer alot of glue over screws... i built mine with alot of glue and a few screws but i think yours will sound great. especially with the type r's you have goin in it. my box isnt carpeted yet mainly becuase im not exactly sure how:crap: ... anyways, id go with 3/4" MDF...

wow man... i just got on to ask this same question. i just finished building a box with 3.5 cubes and have the carpet but im not really on how to go about carpeting this beast. about your question though, you should be fine if you cut out the sub holes in the carpet, the seal should be tight...

kicker cvx's are good for the price.. go with a ported box around 4 cubic feet if you dont need a trunk.

Well ive got 2 brand new 12" kicker comp vr's and now need some good plans for a box. Ive got 2 sheets of MDF board and a few ideas... just looking for some more opinions. They are goin in an 03 tiburon with a pretty big trunk.. space isnt too much of a problem so im thinking around 4^3 feet...
