Ok i designed a ported box for my two 10 inch l7's tuned to 32hz but it didnt fit in my trunk. My dad spent a buncha time doin it and he tried to salvage the wood to make it fit. And what he ended up doing was making two different size ported boxes tuned to two different frequencies. One box...

I was thinking about tuning the box to 38hz, with each sub being in a 2.5 cu ft. I listen to rap and i am looking for about 65% spl, 35% sq split. Will this tuning frequency give me the results that i am looking for, or should i tune lower? Also, i plugged in the subs parameters into WINISD...

I was plannning on putting a sx 15 in my trunk, but i dont have the height to position it so it would fire towards the trunk opening, would it sound any different if i positioned it firing upward with the slot port still facing towards the trunk opening? Does anyone have a sx 15 firing upwards...

does anyone else have comments on the xenons or no?

Ive decided to get a dual 12 setup and put them in a ported box, but i cant decide. I have heard good things about PG XENONS , but i have also heard decent info about MA AUDIO's HK120XC. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how these would sound. Im planning on putting them in a 5 cu. ft...

thats perfect then, i will contemplate my other options about the sx 15...but if that doesnt work out i will definitely consider the LI's...thanks for everyones help
