I just bought another Alpine Nav system for my other car, this one based on a IVA-106 insted of a 310...the NVE-72 or whatever, not the Blackbird thingy. I still think its really quite awesome...hence the reason I have two.

Imprint is an Addon that works with only a few headunits to date... Basically its them making TC an addon versus builtin like on the 2006 model units...with the motorized faceplates...Those were cool...had two of them.

In the setup section there is a setting that either locks the display, or keeps it scrolling. Then the display button on the headunit toggles between different views and such... Unfortunately it didn't display what I wanted, so I just upgraded to a IVA-106 But, seriously, thats a great deck...

I have experience with flip up units, and I think that should work better than a double din in-dash (as the angle would be better). Its going in a 2004 Cobra. But does anyone have a 106? Looks like a few W505's on here. The 106 in the store seems to be light years ahead of the 105 (I have a...
