Eclipse amps did well in the reviews, this was a few yrs back of course. I would expect them to still hold up. Granted there are much better amps, but I think they are far from crap. I still can't believe I have my eclipse Alum woofer after 5yrs. Great woofer.

$450 is too much to pay for hex. For that money go focal or if you can find it some dyn.
