We have a 98 neon hitting 143.5 on a new AC mic with one 10w7 with only 500 watts ported to 30hz, if you had 2 w7 and 1k watts each ported a little higer I think you could beat the hx2 no problem. Rockford cant hang with the force of the w7!!

it is definantly your ground the factory harness does not have a good ground right now your radio is using the antenna as ground but it will not support high volume therefore it is the ground

use 8 gauge it is more efficient and I wouldnt buy walmart wiring

the mach systems have a seperate amp for the speakers if there is a aftermarket h/u you have apretty good chance that you blew the factory amp

why move the ac controlls?

I have done one but cant remember exactly im pretty sure that you have to take out your back seat, your B pillar panels, and that cocer that covers the speakers in the rear do it in this order orelse you are bound to break something, Good luck

if you buy a wiring harness for the ranger, and also a reverse harness for the explorer you can connect those harnesses color for color (except the orange wires do not hook those up), just so the explorer is noe eddie bauer or premiun sound system with factory amp it should work both harnesses...
