Yes, everything in the car including the dome light works perfectly.

I am sure I attached it fine, it clicked and stays steady. There is no power button but I pressed all the buttons and held them too to be sure.. and yes the engine was turned on too. I tried inserting a CD but it would not even accept it.. so it seems it is a power issue then?

I just bought a car yesterday and this morning I look in the glove compartment and see a faceplate and attach it to the unit. It is a Pioneer DEH-1900MP and it has the remote control as well.. I attach it and I cannot find any way to power it on. Is it defective? Or is there some way to turn it...
