Great news guys !!!! On my lunch I went to pick up my deck from Panasonic ... 10min from work I was messing around with the cables and a guy I work with offered a hand. Well this guys fixed my problem in under 10min. My RCA cables are the culprit.... It appears the right channel is shorting...

PanaSonic service told me the HU tested fine!!! But then again, I've known service techs to be wrong.

Yeah I guess I have to test something. Just the HU is different from before. This is why I thought it was the HU and not the setup. and the higher volume when I switched the pre-out made me think it was the HU.

yeah they worked perfect in the fall of last year in the Protege I had... all i did was take the stuff out and it sat in my house till a few weeks ago. But I could check with another speaker I guess. I'm more worried about the amp being taost....

lol.... ok something to consider... my main power cable is 8guage... I was thinking it could be the db ink RCA cables I bought.... But I can see the ground cable being an issue... I know the rule just never been a issue in the past... the Amp is rated at 298watts RMS.
