    Battery Terminal Mess?

Yeh good point - maybe the garage did it but I always have it serviced at the same place and he has never done that before.

    Battery Terminal Mess?

Yeh I suppose oxidation may be a possibilty but it just looked strange the way it had sprayed everywhere. Also it is a quite new sealed battery thats why I thought it couldnt be corrosion. Do you know how I can prevent this happening again in the future and what caused this to happen in the...

    Battery Terminal Mess?

I just opened the bonnent (or hood) of my car the other day when I find this sort of white paste on my battery terminals. Now I had the car serviced a little while ago, and I smeared a small bit of vaseline grease on the terminals before I connected the cables. I have been told it could be some...

I wouldnt wire each coil to a 2 channel amp. I would always use a mono amp for powering a sub :-)

    xbox 360 e74

The e74 message is still covered under microsoft's 3 year exteded warranty like the rrod. Just go to http://www.xbox.com/support and register your xbox and send it them. I did it and I had it back within 10 days.

    Type R?

I used to run two type r's at just around 500 Watts each (with a crappy overated amp) in a small sealed box. I now run just one sub in a 2.2 cubes ported at 2ohms on the same amp and the difference is night and day. I am getting a proper amp soon though. So if I were you I would juust run one...

    big three help

Personally I dont see a problem with using bigger cable. If you use 0 gauge for all 3 cables then I really dont see a problem. Im no expert though.

    Overpowering Speakers?

Hi guys I just ordered a Hertz EP4 amp which gives 60W x 4 at 4ohms, and 95W x 4 at 2ohms. Also I ordered some focal 130CVX coaxials for the front. Now I thought I would buy some cheap shit 5x7 coaxials to fit in the rear of my car (ford focus) so I could turn the power IC in the headunit off...

How Do i wire my Type R subs?

Hi the links you posted dont seem to work, but you want to send a mono signal to your subs so i dont know what amp you have but i presume you can bridge it. You can wire to 4ohms or 1ohm depending on what you amp specs are. Try going to a website like crutchfield.com to use the wiring wizard...

    Grounding questions

I have one amp at the moment, but am getting another. The ground wires wont reach the same point. If I were to ground them at separate points nearly a metre away, would adding say a piece of 8awg between the two grounding points eliminate any potential for ground loops as they would be at the...

    suggestions on voltage drops?

I heard that if you add a second battery then you are adding extra strain on your alt and may kill the diodes (even with a split charge relay). Im not saying this is true its just what i've heard; what do you guys think?
