I had this problem a few years ago and it was caused by my RCA cables. The RCA cabes I was using at the time had very large connectors and they would slightly touch each other when I plugged them into the HU or AMP. I wrapped them with electical tape (the metal connector) and it solved my issues.

I'll check out the first two link. Thanks. The third link leads me to the corvette forums and I've already searched it and unfortunatly they only have detailed info on the 2005 C6 in regards to car audio. I dont know why the 2005 adapter wont work on a 2006 C6. THanks

Take a wire coat hanger and tape the speaker wire to it. Push it through the rubber grommet.

Not only did they not carry it but I was told that a harness was not made for the 06 Vette and couldnt even be ordered. Very strange I know....

Yes, if someone could get me a part number that would help. It's non-Bose and non-Onstar (this information made a difference for the 05 harness). The places I talked to said that they had installed HU in the 06 Vettes but didnt use a wiring harness (not something I want to do). Thanks

I just finished installing my old system in my wifes 4runner and now I'm ready to get started on my car but I can't find a HU wiring harness for an 06 Corvette. The 05 Corvette wiring harness will not work. Does anyone know where I can order one or if one exhists? I've called 5 or 6 different...
