So you guys run 1/0 gauge all the way from the power source to your amp? You dont run 1/0 to a fuse/distro block and then run 4 awg from there to the amp?

Depends. Lets say the $1000 is for equipment only. I will probably pay someone to do the install since we are replacing all of the speakers, but I wont include that in my $1000 budget.
