i've got a 2001 subaru impreza rs 2.5... it's a 2 door, with a descent back seat, nothing big or roomy.... i'm really jusdt not getting the performance i want out of what i have back there.... polk 6 1/2 3 ways.....and i found an alpine component system that just came out that blew me away...

What i'm running already is a kenwood head, 40w x 4, boston acoustic tweeters in the doors above polk audio 3 ways 6 1/2's... i'm changing those out to the boston midranges... i've got the polk's also in the back... i've got sony's last years surf board 800 w, pushing everything, including 2...

what's everyone's thoughts on having component speakers in the rear deck... i've heard a lot of mixed reviews on yes you should and no you shouldn't but i'm just not getting the performance i want out of 3 ways...

I don't really have anything against the speakers, i've just had a few friends that have had some bad experiences with them... like them blowing really easy if they're pushed constantly....

I'm getting mixed input on whether or not to put in component speakers in my rear deck.... i'm not getting the performance out of 3 ways that i'm using... and a new component set has come out that i'm really impressed with... what is anyone's thoughts on what's best for the rear deck???
