None of those around that I'm aware of...there is this one really high end shop on the other side of town, but I can't come close to afording anything they offer, so I just don't bother with them. I'll check and see what I can find out.

I've been to every shop within a 50 mile radius. It's all Alpine, Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, and Jensen.

The MTX gear sounds great to me, and the free installation on the amp is a pretty big deal, as I've never installed one, and I prefer to avoid any hassle I can. If I ordered an amp and had it installed it would cost me close to $100 extra. I also don't know how comfortable I am ordering...

Wow. Nice reply. Thanks for taking the time to type all that out. I think either of the setups you posted would do me nicely. I'm not looking for a ghettoblaster by any means, just a good, clean, clear system that won't break my bank. I'll eventually be adding a 12'' sub, but that should...

    Quick Question

Yeah...that'll also let me put more power on my fronts for less money immediately.

    How are Power Acoustik amps?

Yeah, they almost looked too good to be true. Ah well.

    Quick Question

I've decided on 6.5 components in my door panels and some coaxials in my rear deck. Planning on amping the fronts and leaving the rears running off HU power. I'll also be adding a sub soon. Here's my question: Would I be better off to get a 2 channel amp to push the components up front and...

    How are Power Acoustik amps?

I'm looking for a decent 2 or 4 channel amp, and these seem to give alot of power for not alot of $. So what's the good word fellas?

    Rear Fill: Obserations...

I did try it for a good while last night...I think I'll like it with amped 6.5 comps up front, some nice 3 way coaxials in the back, and a 12 inch sub in the trunk. The sound needs to be there in the rear, but basically just enough so that you know it's there. I understand what everyone's been...

Yeah, I'm gonna do that starting tomorrow. We shall see.

Makes sense, but I actually do trust this one guy. I think he would be straight with me.

    Rear Fill: Obserations...

Yeah, my rears are up under the glass. 6x9s. I think I'm gonna try leaving the rear stock and if I don't like it I can always upgrade later.

Thanks for the advice! What would you reccommend as a good entry-level component?

    Rear Fill: Obserations...

OK I'm officially confused. Everyone here says to put component speakers up front and amp them, leaving the rear deck stock. But everyone I talk to not on the internet (in local shops) says to put components in the doors, 3 ways in the back and put a 4 channel on all of em. I'm not looking...
