yea the voltage is 12v before the fuse so i think it is blown, didnt kno it would be without any visual indication tho. Im going to switch it out hopefully it works

yea when i checked the voltage of the wires it was in mv and jumping around, so that means i have a bad fuse?

iv checked all the fuses multiple times none are blown and with all the wire connected its reading 2.4v again for the amp. could it just be that the amp is dead?

its a innova 3320 and i just measured again and with the power out it just jumps around in mV and with the power connected it does the same thing with the car either on or off but i think i need to reconnect the remote and then try

when the amp was still connected to the battery it was reading 2.4v and when i disconnected the power wire from the battery it was sitting at 2.37 and this is at the dmm set at dcv. this is also with the car off and the remote wire disconnected. i'm about to check again right now and i dont have...

what? i did what you asked me to do and im telling you what the meter said im not blind it said 2.37 volts i know its low which is why i want to figure out the problem

nope it said 2.37 V with DCV and AC was at 0.2

ok i disconnected the power wire the battery is at 12.89 off and 13.95 on and the amp is at 2.37v now

so the battery is at 12.79 when off and 14.05 when on and the amp stays at 2.4 when the car is both on and off

it was set to measure 12v on the dmm. did i do it wrong?

from the amp it sits at 79.4?

isnt 13.5 low for the battery with the car on tho? ill check the amp terminals tomorrow

oh nah that was actually right on the battery terminals

finally was able to check the voltage, 12.7ish while off and 13.5ish when on. guess you were right about the voltage drop but i dont get exactly whats wrong how do i fix it?
