It barely touches the grill at full excursion. I'd love to get a better grill, but I can't find one for an 18, except the open kind which doesn't help me. I definately need protection for it. I throw all kinds of stuff in the back.

Well, what I did was draw radius lines from the center and connected the dots. Took 5 minutes and wasn't all that bad.

Ok thanks. I'm getting an 18" avalanche and the cutout is 16-17" in diameter. I'll search for that post too Joedirt. I checked out an art store and they wanted $70 for a compass w/ an extension that can cover a circle that size. Shiiiiyat, they must be crazy.

What do you guys use? I have a couple of subs w/ no templates, and any compass I see being sold around here make small circles. A neighbor told me to draw lines from the center and connect the ends to form a circle, but I figure maybe there's a better way. Thanks.

This amp does 800x1 rms into 2ohms. Are Audiobahn amps known to go down to one ohm? This sub only does 1 or 4 ohms only. Is there a low cost amp that can push this sub if the Audiobahn won't?
