i would say -good sub & quality sub, good amp, good box. in dat order. but its quite hard to say as one is dependent in a way on the other....dats my thoughts.

..what should i look for? is it the power rating? e.g 125 x2 or is it the max power e.g 800 watt. i'm totally clueless on this and would appreciate your advice. Also (if you don't mind) what amp would you reccommend to run a 600 rms alpine sub? any suggestion? i have about 200 dollars to...

thks dude i know its bottom line as i don't have that much to spend. also i'm quite new to this and thats why have turned to you pro's for help. And i'm still trying to make my system better so let me know if you know any cheap amp dat would go gud with the alpine sub?

i like the xplode design as well but it doesn't seem to be loud as my frens system who only has a 800 watt sub with a 600 watt amp and mine is a 1300 watt sub with a 800 watt amp to power it.

when i bought my sub i was unaware of this breaking in period( as its called) and nither did my installation shop guy, i just played full volume as i really wanted to test it out and make sure my money is well spend. my advice, its up to you, if it breaks you can get it replaced anyway!
