    Opinions on....

    Solid head unit. Controls feel good. Clean display. Ipod control is probably the most streight forward UI you can get. But if you are into alot of tweaking go with the Alpine 9887 or a Poineer.

    regarding the iphone

    KCE-422i will work with 9883 9885 and 9887. I have personally tested it with the 9883 and it worked. I think the head unit has to be on before the iphone is connected.

    Yes about $330.00 shipped for both. I had to get the 3004 from another seller on ebay because Cadence direct is sold out. the 1000d will be pushing a Sound Splinter 12" rlpd2 and the 3004 will be running the front stage. I will try to get some pics up tonight of them where they will be...
