what are the pins for the Pioneer DEH-3800MP IP-BUS connector? I am being told that there are 2 versions of IP-BUS sockets, mine is blue (i read the other one which is older is black) but i need to know the pinouts for it, thanks

My head unit has support for Sat Radio (given by the "SAT Radio Ready" logo printed everywhere) I want to go with Sirius Satellite Radio but I dont know exactly what to buy that would be compatible with my head unit. What do i need? this product here...

i can get dynamat for a decent price...but it still aint cheap, does anyone have any pointers or helpful hints? so i dont waste my money on sheets that i f**ed up lol

how does dynamat work exactly? it looks so thin. if i were to get a few sheets of the xtreme dynamat, applying it directly to the areas that rattle or vibrate, it will fix it?

How do you determine whether or not you need a capacitor? if so how do you determine what size to go with?

but if you had a box that was too big for your speaker specifications, one wouldnt need to insulate, correct?

ok thanks, would i just deaden the areas that rattle? surprizingly there isnt much that does, just the trunk lid and deck lid

i did experiment with my old Type-E and i noticed it made it a little quieter

a little too much information umm...can someone explain to me what insulation does (to affect sound quality) and why anyone needs it? i understand that it "tricks" a speaker into thinking the enclosure is larger because the sound waves have to travel further to reach the sides of the box and so...

i dont know what its like for you but where i live, you hear it alot and no1 really complains, i dont live somewhere with alot of people, at this time especially you hear much louder sounds from all the 5.0L mustangs zippin around and harleys...the laws may be strict for you but it isnt here and...

thanks for the help 2 posts up, not like with my budget subwoofers im going to be "pissin people off" i was trying to get the point across that i DONT want to seal the sound INSIDE the trunk just to get rid of the rattles...if you want to say stuff like that then post somewhere else, i asked for...

does anyone know if this will fix most or maybe even all my trunk lid rattles?
