Which Eclipse HUs have full adjustable digital time correction?

Well I am running the active crossover from the head unit, but I have the speaker setup on 4way+sub. If I set it to a 3way setup, I could do what you are saying, yes. But in that case I would not be able to adjust the front and rear channels independently

    Propz to a great site!

I have been consulting this forum for all my car audio needs from day one. I have learned so much great information, it seems to be endless here. I just wanted to give a huge thumbs up to the site staff. Keep up the good work guys

Which Eclipse HUs have full adjustable digital time correction?

Good explanation Babs. I know what you mean about the sound waves. The technical term is destructive and constructive interference. If the sound waves are exactly one-half phase off, the sound waves will cancel each other out and you will not hear anything. That's how noise canceling headphones...

Which Eclipse HUs have full adjustable digital time correction?

Ahhh I just noticed there is a formula for calculating the Time Alignment settings in my Eclispe manual. I'll have to adjust mine and see if I can tell

Annoying clicking sound that shouldnt be there

I talked to the Eclipse tech support today and they said to check the bit rate and all that crap because it will cause this problem. My MP3's are all within spec, so that cannot be it. Then I made an MP3 CD with the exact same files. Crystal clear, no clicking or crackling what-so-ever. So I...

Which Eclipse HUs have full adjustable digital time correction?

Does the time alignment make a noticable difference? I have a CD8455 and CD7100 and they both have the adjustment. I have played around with it a bit, I understand the concept and think it's pretty sweet, but can anyone actually tell the difference?

Annoying clicking sound that shouldnt be there

Well I put the amp in 2channel mode, used the pair of front rca's on channel 1&2 and wired the front speakers into bridged mode. It did not go away. In fact after a closer examination I have discovered that the clicking is on both sides, not just the left. So that means it is doing it on all...

Annoying clicking sound that shouldnt be there

Do I have to unhook the battery to swap rca's around or will it be alright to do it with the car off?

Annoying clicking sound that shouldnt be there

I just finished installing my system this weekend. Here are the specs: Eclipse CD7100 Head unit Cadence ZXN-6K Components with Ti tweeters (using supplied xovers) Polk 5x7" coaxials for the rears Cadence FXA104 4x100watt amp plus 2 subs but that isn't relevant here. When I fired...

    DEI Studio 10"

Thanks for the reply. Yeh, I just tested them. They don't have much excursion. The Infinity Reference 1030watt that I have seem to be louder. The DEI is more accurate and tight, but the box is smaller and sealed a lot better so that probably has an effect on it.

    DEI Studio 10"

I have a buddy that is selling two DEI (Directed Audio) 10" Studio subs in a sealed box. I've looked all over the internet and can't find much info on them. Does anyone know if they are any good? Are they better then Infinity 1030watt Reference? He wants $100 for everything. Seems like a good...
