    I have finally Decided...

or Wal-mart are you asking us to explain how to hook everything up? ummm, we could do that, if you give us all details

    Installing car alarms.

make sure you have a 12v test light, and i'd recommend those things (i don't know what they're called) but they crimp onto a wire, and then they've got a female end, and you stick a male plug into it, so you're actually splicing a wire into two, but it's a lot neater and safer. get a lot of...

    Car audio out to sea?

well if the engine takes on enough water to reach the level where the sub's sitting, then you've got a lot more problems than a fried sub :p

    Which One Again?

go to your local neighborhood family-owned small car audio store, and get them to build you a box. that's what i did for my first box (i had no experience either) and i just watched them build it. cost $40.00 or so, but it was worth it.

    can car audio go home?

i don't take you as a complete idiot, and i didn't mean any insult, just meant that it's not quite that easy. when you replace the wires in the PSU, be sure you replace ALL connections, including the circuit board, transisters, coils, capacitors, etc... or you'll end up with a blown power supply.

anyone ever hear of an RE Elestein

he made the name up... because it's a custom made sub. RE's famous for doing that: custom making the sub to your specs. interchanging voice coils, cones, etc.

    10 8's

yeah. i would, if i had a good 5-10 minutes to sit down and work it out, but i'm not going to :p

    10 8's

for wiring 10 subs you couldn't just rely on memorizing, which is what a lot of people do (i.e. with 1 or 2 subs, DVC or SVC, parallel or series)... you'd actually have to sit down with a calculator and figure it out, plug into the equations and such.

    Post Pics of YOUR install.

everyone's posting pictures of their subs, i'm going to post pictures of the installation of my 6.5" components in my front driver and passenger doors. i'm not going to post pictures of my two 15s, or any other part of my setup, because it's not complete yet. ^^^ the installation of the...

    What gauge should i use?I

yeah 4 gauge would be more than enough, but it never hurts to leave room for expansion (aka using bigger wire ) LOL also remember that Boss amp is probably putting out less than 50% of what it's rated at :p
