I would change the cut (looking at the pic above the short, right side of the port) make it fit between the front plate and that back port plate. So basically that short port piece would end up 1.5 inches shorter and the front and back pieces would each be 3/4 longer... Fwiw I build a lot of...

The dual 8's are 1.8 each, tuned to 34 I think... The single 12 is 2.3 tuned to 37. I don't have my notes in front of me atm... Just some designs I had from the years past sitting around.

Actually Op, that amp will put 3k x2 to each sub if you use double the wire. No brainer here. You're gonna be boomin. But in all seriousness, it depends in the impedance of the subs and how they are wired. Likely, if your subs are dual 4,s, then you can wire down to a 1ohm load. However I'm...
