i took the amp out and hooked it straight to the battery and it still goes on protect

its not hot now but it could of overheated when it was working nothing smells burnt up

ok right now i have a cadence amp and a cvx 12 the speaker is wired at 4 ohms and the amp is 600w at 4 ohms bridged ...my problem is the amp is going into protect mode it just did this yesterday and it has be working great for about 5 months ...i checked all the wires there all hooked up...

HIFONICS TXi-7508 a/b class mono amp i was wondering how to hook up the amp to run at 1 ohm because its got an a and a b terminals both with positive and negitive do i just hook it up 2 a or do i hook a positive 2 a and a negitive 2 b thanks...

its says mono class a/b how do you hook the speaker 2 the amp because its got a positive and a nevitive on the a and a positive and negitive on the b terminals do you run a positive wire from the speaker 2 the positive terminals on a and b and the same with the negitive?

yea i was had a spending limit right now...ill get a better amp later ..i live in prattville

well i mean is that a good enough amp or not .i heard that they actually put out more that 600watt rms because they got those figures of 13.8 volts and most companys test there amps at a higher voltage

im on a budget i know i could of got a higher rms rated amp but i ordered a kicker cvx 12 in a kicker box, a cadence txa300.2 amp ...the sub is dual 2ohm vc ..and the amp is rated at 600 watt rms at 4 ohms bridged heres the links sub...
