Brahma = Adire Audio = 1 of the 2 lowest distortion woofers on earth = loud = great sub
SX and XXX = Resonant Engineering
XXX uses the same technology the Adire brahma uses, and its more of an SQ sub that gets loud.
SX uses normal overhung motor design its more of an SPL sub thats sounds good.
Yeah he did with avalanche and atlas. He ran lots of power to both. The video thats floating around is of 2 avalanches. Tuan kept posting about the 1000s of watts he was throwing at the avalanche, but a few times he posted about giving the atlas over 1000w too. This was over at SIN though.
Dude run 2 viper 1200.1's you'll get much more power. One day i'm going to run 4 of em strapped (2 pairs) when i get a bigger car with a huge alternator
Yeah but thats with perfectly clean power on sine waves for short burps. Don't try and push it with over 500w daily. If you run it into clipping at all on that amp you will be highly at risk for a blown sub.
vanadiums are great speakers, have you looked at the DLS Iridium 6.2 sets yet? Those are supposed to be awesome. Personally i like the new bostom pros (not the old bright sounding ones made pre 2005) better than anything i've heard from Rainbow (never heard the platinums or reference). Sub...
No he was pushing upwards of 3000w on 1 avalanche. But he also ran over 1000w to the atlas
And if you are talking about the video from Toxic bass thats not even tuan thats someone else.
Well because it really doesn't make sense to buy $1000 sets of speakers and a $1000 amp if you are not totally loaded. Buy 2 pairs of $500 speakers like the new 2005 Boston Pros or something. Then buy 2 $500 amps, buy a $500 sub/subs, and a $500 head unit and you have a whole system.
Yep, i remember when they tested the 500/1 there was only a MAX difference of like 40wrms with all these different variables:
1.5ohm, 2ohm, 3ohm, or 4ohm 11v, 12v, 13v, 14v
I think it made its max power at 4ohms @14v
