Okay, so basically it’s still a ground loop? But then why would the alt whine go away but the other constant whine stay Sorry I’m just pretty new to all of this and I want to understand better. If it helps I have a sub grounded in the same place and no sound from that

Tried taking head unit out earlier and checking wires and still no luck Would the wiring harness on the stock unit be causing feedback to the amp?

I will try this later tonight and let you know how it goes The whine comes from all speakers and I went back to factory ground since it didn’t help, also yes tried after getting the whine after resolving the alt whine since I figured it was still a ground loop

No whine if it is disconnected however there was no whine until I added the amp. There is no factory amplifier either the head unit is the only signal source. With head unit disconnected, no whine. Whine starts only when head unit is on which I probably should have stated before
