.5 ohms for daily driving, no! just for burping purposes, yes it will do. by the way brutus at 2ohm should be plenty loud already, clean bass!

i friend of mine had the 3rd to the highest mono class d they offer and he said it was capable of running .7 ohms stable! he had 3 12 jl w6 (discontinued model) dual 6 ohm vc. when i heard it for the first time, it was hellah loud and clean, i wanted to so purchase one for myself but didn't...

alright here the deal. i just spoke to an authorized hifonics technician and he said that i very well could! just as long as i have a top end battery (optimal) and that i need wo have at least two runs of zero gauge wires going back to the amp! i'll keep you guyz posted on how i do! thanks...

i got an optimal battery as the only upgrade. if it's not able to withstand .5 ohms, will it just go into protect?
