This wire is hooking up Infinity Kappa's all around, 60w RMS for 4x6 and 90w RMS for 6 1/2. 12G seems like overkill.. or does Stinger wire just ****? lol

Just as the title says. Which should I use? I have enough of each to wire my new speakers, I just don't know which one is preferred? Stinger is 16G and Knu is 12G if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the tip! I would have never thought that it would short out the HU. I never tape my wires together anyway. I usually put a wire nut on the end, or just cut and tape like you suggested.

In an S10, regular cab.. about how much speaker wire should I get? I just need to go from the amp under the seats to the doors and from the amp to the dash speakers. Would 30 ft be good?

Ah, so the RCA's are basically your speaker wire to your amp. What about the wires in the harness for your head unit? There is a wire for every speaker. Leave them disconnected?

I may be interested in the 16g. It's a lot more wire than I need, but I'm sure I could use it eventually. I'll let you know soon. Is shipping UPS, Parcel or Priority?
