im in desperate need of an amp and have narrowed it down to these 2. i did alot of shearching for both and found these cheap prices... Profile CA440 / 60Wx4 = 77bucks Audiobahn A4004T / 50Wx4 = 170bucks now i know the audiobahn is better, but is it REALLY REALLY REALLY worth the extra 100...

my max spending limit would be around 300 give or take. would i be able to get a 10inch type R (pre boxed one) and a decent amp for that much? so the basslink is pretty good huh? definitly better then a bazooka?

these all sound good, but if i go with a sub like ED then i have to purchase and amp and a box, plus pay for installation of the sub and amp... that = mucho dinero is there a decent self powered sub, or any simpler decent combo available, not looking for anything crazy? are bazookas really...

i need a good/cheap amp to put in my car, looking to power pioneer REv 6.5 components and 6x9s, was thinking of the Profile 60wx4, its about 80+/- from real "dealers" on ebay. can anyone recomend a better one with about the same specs and around the same price, give or take

i meant does the type of amp i get really make that much of a difference? i mean a HUGE difference? turn the volume all the way up? when would i have to worry about blowing a speaker? how does that happen?

wish i could do a bit better, but the cash flow is a bit scarce right now. i just got back from the shop where they installed my components, its sounds really good, not even amped. when i get an amp im not even sure what all the controls really do (gain and whatnot), and how to set these...

i guess whats missing most is lows, but i could say a little more loudness wouldnt hurt either. would putting an amp with bass boost in make the bass hit a bit better? or will an amp in general make the bass a bit better? my HU has no sort of bass boost at all. also is a 60 watt per channel...

k i put pioneer revs in the rear and Rev components up front in my 04 corolla S, no amp. its sounds pretty good but its still lacking something im on a really tight budget here so which should i do, i can only really afford to do one profile 60x4 amp for the speakers, or an 8 inch amped...

thanx for the reply, anyone else have any advise? how would this setup be with 35 watts per channel instead of 60? would it be a big difference? im thinking i want a bit smaller amp. when do i have to start worrying about power problems?
