I own my own audio shop in Washington. Id pick this job up if I lived in indiana, but Im more than welcome to spot some ideas.

facing the subs up towards the lid is the best usualy for an accord. Get some dynamat to stop the rattling.

you can try two things...first try new rca's, regular inputs, if you havent all ready done that. if that doesnt work, do you know if you can chang the rca connection on that amp? IVE seen some where you can change them.

yeah, youve got a problem with your wiring it sounds like. OR there may be a problem with your channels. Check the wiring through tho. Do you have all good connectors and no free wire hanging around?

your speaker is blown, thats all there is too it. At least thats what it soudns like. You dont even want to spend time repairing it. I recommend you jsut find anew set of 6.5's that are new or that you know are sealed in box. if you want, you can mayeb try and use the tweeters from your old...

Im an installer and when someone comes to me wondering what to get with 200-400 dollars, I alwasy tell them one thing. @ audiobahn 10's or 12's with a 1000-1400 watt legacy amp off of ebay. I know that the amp isnt "name" brand, but you would really hit hard and have awesome sound with that...

well, with 300-400 dollars, I would definately go with pioneer. Tehy have been know to have better quality and not to mention a great look. I have a sony xploid in my car right now, but im selling that and getting a pioneer. I install systems and that has been one of the best brands I have put...

I think that what you bought is perfect. Well, the subs, I dont really reccommend, but I install steros and build boxes, and when someone asks me what to buy without spending 1000's of dollars, I tell them legacy or pyramid amps and audiobahn subs, usually off ebay, and to go with a ported box...

I say go with 3 jl 12" w7 or any other highg wattage subs. BUT, instead of getting one big amp, get three seperate ones(all that support the peek level of the sub), sometimes you can get more powere out of it. Dont go with the 6x9's in the back. It can distort it adn really screw your sound up...

I think it just has to do with your amp. Borrow a new amp and hook it up to your system. If it is still cutting off then your amp is fine, and your wiring has a problem in it or your battery/alternator is bad and not holding charge.
