Im looking for an amp that does about 400 watts rms and 4 ohms. This amp will be powering a Kicker CVT SVC 4 ohm, and the two choices if looked at so far are phoenix rsd600.1 and a kicker zx450.2. According to the guy they are xbl^2 motors, i dk much about these subs so more input would be appreciated. i beleive they are 800 rms from what i seen on ebay.

no the guy was using it in his HT EDIT: he wants $475 for 2 15" Brahma MKIV, with enclosures for each of them> I think the enclosures might be prefab but i could be wrong i havent contacted the guy yet.

What is a good price on a 15" Brahma MKIV? Also are the MKIV's a solid sub I've seen some people saying the only good ones were the MKI and MKII, and how much power would one of these take? I tried looking up the power specs but i guess google>me today. Thanks, Snow

Alright so lets say you have 2 4 ohm DVC subs and they are wired to 1 ohm, and because of imp rise, your subs aren't getting the full power. Even though there is imp rise is your amp still taking a 1 ohm load? Could someone please explain this?

i was thinking about this for awhile and i was wondering why it seems to be less common to wire down to .5 ohm. Correct me if i am wrong but with imp. rise wouldn't it be closer to 1 ohm? A lot of people wire to 1 ohm and wouldn't it because closer to 1.5 or 2 ohms? I'm obviously no expert and...

I would check out Cambridge Soundworks. I use them and everyone i have recommended them to loves them. Also a local radio station by me uses Cambridge and the guy said they were awesome and he wouldn't be able to listen to music all day without them.

im looking for a 500rms amp at 2 ohms. to run 2 svc 4 ohm subs. Im looking at either the zx500.1 or the hifonics txi 7508 amp. This is for my friend and im looking for the best bang for his buck. What are some other choices and what should i go with? Thanks, snow
