I still don't see 55s on music with that. I can see a 55 burp with both amps but from my experience helping build a world champion s10 and picking the brain of a s-10 guru I know how hard it is to get certain numbers. Do you remember the peak of that setup? The peak freq of s-10's is 70+hz.

how much of a noob are you? No 3" coil sub produced can handle a real 5k daily. Hell not even 3.5k. 3k is about the max one will handle but it will have such a stiff suspension that it wont be ideal for daily. Even if your amp puts out 4-5k I would venture to say your sub might be seeing 2k...

At what frequency? What was the setup? I find that hard to believe. Maybe a 155 burp but not on music with subs and port up. OP should do subs forward and port up as it will work great for daily.

It was a daily setup tuned to 34hz peaking at 44hz. He's also had two 15s burping a 55 and street beating almost a 54

Not likely daily. Wont be near a "sq" sub either. Your not thinking about rise. The subs wont see 3500 constant daily. I wasn't talking about a fart box either. My teammate has an 04 explorer and changes setups all the time but they are all daily setups.

And why not? Just because there is less cone area doesn't mean it can't be louder. A friend of mine had a single sa-12 doing a 50 legal in an explorer.
