I predilled holes in my sub box for EZ Lok inserts and noticed that some layers of the MDF began to separate and lift up so I stopped and removed the inserts. I used the correct size drill bit for the inserts as well. The first one I did, I noticed it has left a high spot in the wood as well...

The Amazon Basics sound dampener is good stuff. It’s fairly cheap and takes care of lots of vibrational noise and rattles

Yes I have also read that HPF on sealed boxes can be dialed completely down. So you have your LPF maxed at the amp and 80hz at the HU? How’s your sub sound?

So I got a sealed box with the sub manufacturer’s recommendations of .85 cu ft. Should I run any polyfill?
