Mtx is defitnitely top notch in the car audio world, one of my favorites. They probably inverted the surround so people would ask questions, I don't think it would matter if it was in or out.

I have done this truck. I put two square solobarics 8's right underneath the rear seats. Sounded brilliant. I recomment the alpine sub though, if that is your two options.

3 minutes the guy before me is exactly right. Rule of thumb is three minutes.

I must tell you this though. I forgot. That system in that truck doesn't sound like it should. Not enough airspace. If you have the windows down and the sunroof open, it sounds better but for a regular cab, a cutout for spl is necessary.
