got a quick question... i basically have to tap into an 18 gauge speaker wire.. when using a t-tap to tap into the 18 gauge speaker wire.. would it be okay to run a 16 gauge speaker wire from the 18 gauge or will that ruin quality of the speaker/sound? in easier terms would there be some kind...

so im new to this amp installation stuff. does the quality of the wires reflect sound quality and lifespan of the amp/subs? basically im asking if i should go with cheaper amp installation kits.. or should i get a good amp wiring kit?
