Ok.. so I have 400 watts to throw at a sub... I'm looken for good sq/spl.. good mixture of both... want the bass to make me feel like im empty inside... good sharp, hard hitting bass.... right now I have a jl audio 10w3-d2... and im only able to throw 200 watts at it, using a kx400.1.... SO...

I'm looken to buy a JL Audio 10w3-d2 subwoofer to compliment my other 10w3-d2... runnin my amp at 4 ohms and it's a shame I can't bust it down to 2 ohms... can only run my amp at half of what its worth.

How much would you want for 1 of those 10w3v2's?

Ide take you up on that offer if you had a 10w3.. hmm... how would 1 10w3 and 1 12w3 sound... comparing to 2 10w3's... would that offset the bass impact?.. like in rock music, if i had 2 different sized subs?

Right now I am running a Kicker kx400.1 200w x 1 @ 4 ohm, 400w x 1 @ 2 ohm to a JL Audio 10w3-D2 (can not wire sub to 2 ohms, only 4 and 1). So, as of right now I am running 200 watts to a sub that takes 250 watts rms. My question is.. what would be better for SQ and or SPL, running 400...

Im looken to buy a set of components for my car... wanted to get the opinions of both. What's the difference in sound quality between the Infinity 5000cs vs. Kicker k5.2.. they are gonna be powered by an old crunch v200 amp I have.
