02 Buick Lesabre No Install Kits!?!?

I just got an 02 Buick Lesabre and I can't find any installation kits for it. Nothing for mounting the head unit or a wiring harness adapter. I don't want to bother making a mounting bracket and I don't want to hack up the factory wiring harness. Any ideas where I can get what I need?

    Crossover help needed

Here is my initial design: The two holes in the middle are where the tweeters would be placed. The reason for the complex design is because I listen to heavy metal/rock at high volumes. I haven't experienced a set of speakers with only a few drivers that I liked the sound of when they...

    Crossover help needed

I am planning on building a set of stereo speakers. I have been trying to learn how to design crossovers for them but am having a very difficult time understanding how to calculate the final impedance of the assembled speaker. I would like to end up with an 8 ohm speaker, but the only setup I...

    bose 901 speaker replacement ideas

My friend's dad built a set of those when the series 2 were out. The drivers in his cabinets are 8 ohms. There are three drivers in parrallel which gives 2.66 ohms: (1/( (1/8) + (1/8) + (1/8) )) = 2.66 then there are three sets of these in series which brings the impedence up to 8 ohms 2.66...

    Versatile design?

It's an 89 Dodge Shelby Daytona. Not stock (But that's the toy car, my boring Stratus has the audio stuff in it.)

    Versatile design?

Hey guys, I don't post much, mostly do a lot of reading on here and several other audio forums. I have decided to build a set of speakers. I can't decide on what the best design would be. I listen to a very wide range of music, anything from blues to heavy metal and rock. I like to listen to...

Ports: Big and long vs. small and short

Holy crap that was fast. Is there anywhere you could direct me to help me learn more about port velocity, like what is too high to low etc, and how to calculate it?

Ports: Big and long vs. small and short

I am going to build a ported box using a JL 12w3v2. I was using a program that calculates port lengths and I got an interesting result. As the port gets larger in diameter, the port gets longer to maintain the same tuning, and vice versa as the port gets smaller in diameter, the port gets...

    Help me choose

Hey guys, I've been reading this board for a while now and am still undecisive about what amp I should get. I’ve got two JL 12w3-D4’s that are currently being pushed by about 300 watts rms. I would like to get something that is twice as big, something that is around 600 watts rms at 1 or 4...

    First post, HU guidance

Thanks for the links. That's where I was initially looking and didn't see a difference except for some of the wording. According to the brochure I have from Alpine, the 9835, 9833, and 9831 all have i-personalize. I think I'm gonna just go with the 9833 since I can't justify speding and extra...

How long is the 9835 gonna be around?

I'm would like to get a 9835 but probably won't be able to until April. Does anyone know how much longer it will be around before the 9855 takes over?

So is the only difference between the 9835 and the 9833 the display? I really like the display but its a lot more expensive if that is the only difference.

    First post, HU guidance

Hey guys, first post. I've been reading a lot about HU's on here a lot and it seems that the Alpines are a favorite. I have been looking at the CDA-9835 and really like it, howerver it is very expensive. The CDA-9833 seems like it has the same features. Is the only difference between these...
