my subs are barely pounding, even when i turn the bass right up, I am wondering if my amp was blown would they still work? there is a rubber plastic smell in the trunk, and when watching the subs one is definitly moving alot more than the other 2 12 inch JL they are only 150 watts each.

ya there was a smell, like new plastic smell, not burnt though and the amp was not hot at all.... I dont know the ohm load that it was on,,, they guy who installed it said he had it powered up quite a bit, if that means anything, but would it still have the subs playing softer if it was blown???

would they still play even if they were blown???
