Thanks for the replies, I really need someone I can trust to fix it and KNOWS old Xtant amps. I've been ripped of before by a repair shop with my old Sony C910 cd player, which was not cheap.

I have a VERY old school Xtant 3300x that I bought new when first available. It was repaired by Xtant in the late 90's because of the dreaded wire strand and was/has been great ever since. Now it seems there is a noise issue at low volume, I love this amp and want to use it for many more years...
