    the magnet was simply glued between the metal plates, it didn't take much force to remove. I am thinking of using smaller diameter washers in place of the metal center ring on the back plate in order to still allow it to pull and push the speaker but not wedge it against the wall.

    I removed it with a screwdriver and hammer. Hitting it until it separated enough to pry the back metal disc from the magnet.

    I was toying with the idea of increasing the magnet size. Any way to align it? It seems to be pinning the sliding mechanism between the two metal discs.

    Hi I was playing around and experimenting with my subwoofers. I removed the magnet from the back and when I went to put it back on it will not let the speaker slide. Is there any way to fix this or is it ruined?
