    Blown Multiple Subs

The box is "q bomb". The sub is an Alpine SWR12D4.

    Blown Multiple Subs

Q Bomb 12 VL Single 22 x 15 x 13 1/2 1.8cu That all makes sense, but the problem I have is believing that the sound I am getting now is anywhere CLOSE to 1000 watts RMS. Turning the gain all the way down on the sub amp and turning the "sub volume" on the radio up, at best, i would say...

    Blown Multiple Subs

So I recently blew my second sub in a matter of about 2 months. The first lasted about 7 months or so and the most recent only lasted 3 weeks. The latter was an Alpine SWR-12D4 and again, it was brand new with a brand new Alpine M110 mono amp. I took it back and the shop swapped it out for me...

Same old question... with a twist.

What? Where do you get 500 from? The door speakers put out 100 each for a total of 400 and the amp should be putting out 400 to each sub for a total of 800. So with that being said, the subs should be twice as loud as the door speakers. Yet, I have to turn the door speakers down and the subs up...

Same old question... with a twist.

Ok so I created the test tone and put it on a thumb drive. I left the EQ as it was and turned the volume up to 3/4. This particular amp, instead of having gain 0-12 or the like, it has readings... "6.5v" is lowest then "H" which the manual says is for 4 volt RCA outputs (this is only about 1/4...

Same old question... with a twist.

The goal is simply to not damage my equipment. I installed a Kicker CompR loaded enclosure with two 12" subs (800 RMS Each) and a Pioneer 9601 (800 RMS) mono amp. This is nowhere near extravagant as some of you guys' equipment but I still don't want to destroy it. I don't change EQ settings very...

Same old question... with a twist.

Ok. So I know how to check the amp gain levels with the multimeter and test tone. What I don't understand is why we should set the gains with a flat eq. What confuses me is this... I set my amp gain with my eq completely flat. I don't listen to music with my eq completely flat... I add low bass...

I forgot to take a picture of the wireless remote but I have that as well and it is also in perfect condition. I have steering wheel controls so I never even used it.

I haven't used the SD card slot even once so I can't say with 100% certainty. I know it can do music without a doubt and I would imagine that it would play video as well as long as the video was in the right format.

Ok, here are pictures of all of the wires that come with the unit. Just a heads up, someone else has contacted me and is wanting to buy the radio. Since you messaged me first, I have him waiting to see if you buy it or not so I need to have an answer pretty soon. All Cables Video Harness...

I've heard of it and I've spoken to them on the phone a couple times, but I've never actually been to the store. It's fine with me if you want to meet there so he can take a look at it. When did you want to meet up?

What do you want to see? The radio itself or different menus? I could hook it up to a battery and turn it on if you need me to.

I live in Riverview and work in Brandon. I removed this from my car yesterday so it's ready to go if you want to meet up. I have a very flexible job so I could meet you virtually any time.
